Went for a hike today. Its for the OCIP China trip. Honestly I cannot understand the purpose of the trip. Maybe its to let us experience the type of terrain we would be traveling at China or maybe just to identify the fit and not so fit people in the team. Ya so we meet at 8 30 at Mac Richie car park. My friend and me happen to miss the stop. So walk a bit to reach the car park. However so people were late arriving only at 8:45. We hike from the reservoir all the way to Bukit Timah. It was 10km of walking and my legs were nearly detached after walking. Along the way, we had to walk on a huge pipe to cross over. When I first saw that, I was thinking WTF are we gonna walk across this thing. What if we drop down. But its very safe. So no worries. Haha.
There were steep slopes to climb during the hike too. Wow this is fun. Hope China has more interesting terrain. When we finally reach Bukit Timah, we had to fend off monkeys trying ways and means to grab our food. One guy had his chocolate bar rob from him by a monkey tarzan. Boy that sure is funny. Haha. Next we had a briefing and assignment of roles. I was group with Hui Ling and a girl called ShaoRu and we are surpossed to teach the kids at China about body parts and direction. We must be creative and I have no idea how to do that. Never mind just let the girls think. Hehe.
Next it was heading home. Took 852 and went straight home and rest my legs.
