Had a high fever on wednesday so i missed the outfield on that day. My temperature was 38.1 degrees and i was sent to the sickbay where i had a drip. My veins proved to be too challenging and as i result i was pocked 4 times before i could have the drip. But its ok i am too weak to feel the pain anyway. When i went back to the company on thur afternoon, i was told that i could book out so here i am and i managed to secure a psp deal. It's quite a bargain. $380 for a value pack, 1GB memory card, an NBA umd and a GTA: LCS umd.

LOST; HELPLESS; SEARCHING

It's back to camp for me after failing to extend my mc. Anyway the doctor says that the bone has healed but my arm still has limited movement. Anyway I need to go for physio therapy on Monday and I have an ultrasound scan on Thursday. Well in camp I am basically slacking all the way. The only thing I did is eat, sleep and read. But during these 2 days, I felt kind of strange. Wonder what is wrong with me but I suddenly felt very empty, very lost. A feeling that I am searching for something but at the same time I don't know what I am searching for. Its like vacuum that I don't know what to fill with nor do I know the reason why it existed. I seem to have this question of why am I here in this world, I feel like life is just wasting away and I cannot find any answer. Furthermore I can only air my thoughts here. There is no one I can confide in. I thought I was capable and could handle everything myself and search for answers myself. But I was wrong, I never felt so helpless and so in need of a listening ear. Hmm a lot seem to occur within this 2 days in camp. Wonder what is going on.

Book in tomorrow by 2300

Woke up today and I thought it was still night time cause of the dark sky. At around 11 40, it started to rain heavily with strong winds blowing. The stupid window near the computer table does not serve its purpose too. Every time it rains, the window area would be flooded and I have to get cloths to absorb the water and clean up after that. Its been like that even after it has been repaired. Day went as usual, nothing much happen. Anyway the slack days are going to be over. I am booking in tomorrow night by 2300 after like one month plus of staying at home. But it still depends on the doctor tomorrow when I go for my X-ray.

Today's service was different, for a start service was held in the room where JSF used to hold their service vice versa. The message was about missions and is one where I really felt that it went pretty fast and the message was straight to the point and I really learnt a lot from it although it was like only about 20 mins. It sometimes really makes me wonder if I would ever go on mission trips. Actually spending time in a rural area is nothing to me considering that I have done that before when I went to China for the OCIP in JC 1 and had the experience of living in a different environment. But it's the thought of sharing to other people where language may be a barrier and there are other problems to consider such as money and if I am not comfortable sharing to even people in my country, how could I possibly share to a person of a different culture and language. The thought of all this just puts me off and I will just fall back on the thinking of why bother sharing to people in other country when there are so many unsaved souls in your own country. Think it's just human to think the easy out of things.

After church I rushed down to Plaza Singapura to meet my classmates for the movie click. When I reached there, boy I was really surprised to see most of the class there. Even the usual people who do not usually join are there. Think Eleanor the organizer should be very happy. Well click was a hilarious movie to begin with but with important lessons in it as well. It's a movie worth watching if you have not. It began with a guy who has the typical problems with work and not having time with his family. When one day he realized that he had problems with the many remote controls, he sets out to get a universal remote control to help him out. Well he got more than he wished for and got a remote control that not only controls his gadgets but his life as well. So essentially he could control volume of the barking dog, mute people he doesn't want to hear from, fast forward things he wants to miss, slow things down and even pause. Well the catch here is that this product is non refundable and it is able to record your usage patterns. The problems began when he uses it to fast forward it to the point where he was promoted and it was a year. So he fast forwards an entire year of his life and he realizes that the remote began to go out of control. It fast forwards based on past usage without him controlling it. So he got his wishes like a successful career but loses important things in life such as family and health. At his death bed, he realized the wrong he has done and tried his best to tell his son to treasure his family when he realize that his son was fast becoming like him. He ended up dying. Well this guy woke up from his dream and began to spend more time with his family and throws away the remote when it was sent to his house. Happy ending as always.

Sometimes I really can't stand some people. What the hell is wrong with spending my own money? The person who makes me lose faith in saving money by stealing my money and 'borrow' without returning or says he will return but never did is asking me not to buy so much stuff but save some money. What a damm ironic case. I am not going to be that stupid to save as much as $1000 and end up not seeing it at all. So why not spend it on something I want.

Singapore turns 41 today. Happy birthday to Singapore. Its been a long way for us since independence to grow from a poor country to a nation which is prosperous with great economic development and political stability. To this I have to say that it is not possible without one man the one who gave his life to Singapore and he is none other than Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew. MM Lee is one whom I have respected all along. Without him, I guess I won’t be staying in such a globalize city with proper education and access to all the gadgets the world has to offer. Instead I guess Singapore would be just another small village with people in poverty and children running around without access to proper education. The day started at 8 when my alarm clock woke me up. I had to get up early cause the person from acer is supposed to arrive at between 8 to 10 to upgrade my pc. I spent $258 on 2 upgrades mainly an extra 256 ram and a dvd drive. It’s a good investment as this new computer could last me for some time. For the rest of the day, life goes on as usual and I await the arrival of the NDP on television. I watched every NDP on tv as I still do not have the chance to view it live at the stadium yet. I missed the preview screening during primary 5 too due to my mum yet again. For the whole parade, I am only interested in the first half where all the marching and display of the planes took place. The most awesome part is still the fireworks which never fail to captivate the audiences year after year. Although lots of money is spent at the parade, but its money worth spending as many people from around the world will be watching our parade. From the parade, it tells of the state of our citizens, the cooperation between the government and businesses, our military discipline and might. Any mistakes could embarrass us or show our incapability to the world. Well hope that one day I will be able to watch the parade live.

My mc continues and i am very very bored at home. I dun bother to blog too cause nothing much about my life just wake up, eat use the comp, watch tv and then go to sleep. Finished Love@ 0 degrees which is a super nice show. I like Rui En too. Haha. The show had a great ending where Yi Xin ended up together with Wei Xiang and the stupid Anna broke up with Guo Bin. Serve her right. She is the most irritating character in the show literally the big bad guy. In the end she had nothing. Haha. Arm is still not improving, cannot raise my hand and the shoulder is still hurting. Had breakfast duty today and realise that actually theres a lot to be done. When we went in the morning, we had to pack the food and boil water for the breakfast. Thereafter we had to clear up and count all the money from selling the food. We had a visitor too today. An american band called Carpenter's tools came to our church today to join us for service and later perform some items for us. Sadly we had to leave half way to prepare for selling food for breakfast. Caught Tokyo Drift with liang ying. Its a great show with nice stunts and not a bad story line. I really enjoyed all the drifting scene and theres lots of great gals to see too. haha. Worth watching if you got the time.
