Last Day Of Bloc Test

Finally, the end of the bloc test is here. After 2 weeks of intensive studying, i can finally relax liao. Last paper was physics SPA, and i guess correctly. The oscillation of a test tube did came out. I was so happy and finish the paper 15 mins before. Physics paper was ok except that i could not define angular frequency and some other stuff. Maths was not bad with the exception of 3 parts of a question. Chemistry is the worst men. I think i am going to fail the paper. I studied so hard, but so still can't do the questions. WTF men, at this rate how am i going to get into medicine. Got to work harder and harder and harder.

After the bloc test, Eleanor, David and me went to Plaza Singapura to catch a movie with Shi Hui and Jay. After walking about for a while, Eleanor, David and me went to Cafe Cartel to wait for Shi Hui. We had lunch there and i had a chicken salad which cost $10.20. Eleanor's order of pork chops took about 20 mins to come and i had to ask them twice when is the order coming. During the wait, Eleanor crack a cute joke about having to catch the pig so that explains why the pork chops took so long to come. Haha that was a good one.

After lunch, we shop around before catching the movie at 4:25pm. I bought a pink water bottle for mum to take to work. We watch Miss Congeniality 2 and it was a dammed nice show and very funny.

After the movie, we went shopping around for Ye Feng's birthday present. When i left, they still haven bought anything. Anyway when we went to a bookshop to look, we found a book of answers and i ask 3 times whether David is a gay and guess what, all 3 times had a positive answer. We had a real good laugh in the bookshop.

What a great day to destress today. I had a wonderful time. Tomorrow going to Jon Foo's church for good friday.

Biology Bloc Test 2005

Today i went back to school for Biology Bloc Test. The test is one hour thirty minutes and there were 4 structured and 2 essay questions. Well it was ok and i could not answer one part of the essay which was on how chloroplast is adapted to capture light for the light dependent reaction. Anyway being the great crapper, i still mabaged to crap out 5 lines. Haha.
Been feeling stressed this week. When i studied for chemistry, i nearly burst as i could not remember anything. Later i am going to read chemistry again after destressing after the biology bloc test.
I have uploaded some photos on my blog. Gonna continue uploading all the photos i have taken or photos of friends. Keep checking back for new addition and you may find yourself on my blog.

After the NUS OPEN HOUSE, Tim, Sum,Jon and me went to Pasir Ris for Foo's bbq. Well not too bad a bbq, i know more about Foo's religion. When we first arrive, Sum played chinese chess with Tim. I was impressed that he closed his eyes and played. However, before the game ended, Foo kept it away and want us to interact with others. So we sat there and wait for others to come interact with us. Initially Foo got us food but after that, he refuses and want us to get it ourself. But we just sat there and later food came to us somehow. Haha. After the bbq ended, we went to play at the spider web. Finally after going there for so many times, i actually climb to the top after encouragement from Sum, Foo and Tim. Thank you all for helping me overcome my fears. After that we took bus 403 to the MRT station. When we reach the interchange, we thought the last train is going to leave soon, so we ran as fast as we could to the MRT station. When we were inside the train, Sum mentioned that we may not be able to catch the last train leaving city hall. Thus, there was a discussion on how to get home. Finally we decided to alight at Tanah Merah station and catch a train to Changi Airport to catch bus 53 to Bishan. When we reach the airport, we thought that the bus was leaving soon and we rush all over the place trying to get to the bus stop. Fianally, i took bus 858 to yishun and then took a cab to sun plaza, bought a loaf of bread and walk home. Wow what a fun filled and exciting day for me. Oh ya before going to the bbq, Foo, Sum and me each got a Naruto ring.

NUS OPEN HSE 2005

Yesterday, i went to the NUS OPEN HOUSE 2005 for a look. Well i think i have wasted my time there. I went for 3 talks and visit booths by students there. The business talk was rubbish men, about why one should study business. I was expecting it to be about courses avaliable and career prospects. The admission office talk was about NUS. Not too bad, at least now i know more about NUS. The medicine talk was the best i think. Its more informative on what to expect if one decides to study medicine. There are 2 interviews, an essay to write and have to submit a portfolio. I think that its very difficult to study medicine. Arrg but i really want to be a doctor and help people treat their illness which make them so miserable. All i can do now is work real hard to get the 4As.

During one of the CT period, there was a talk by the CEO of 77th street. During the talk, we are told to write down 4 words and write a sentence each. The 4 words are Life, Death, Sex and Love. Heres what i wrote.

Life: Its full of worries and sorrows which make me wonder why am i in it.

Death: Its a way to escape life and i have considered it before.

Sex: Its a way to strengthen the love between 2 individual

Love: Its a feeling developed after having a relationship for some time.

A Level Chinese Results

On the 4th of March, i receive my A level chinese results. Dammed it i got a B3. When i look at it, i was feeling dammed sad. Although i knew it was a near impossible, i aim to get an A1. I work very hard to study all i could and i think that i did the paper pretty well. But still get this type of results. I wanted to retake the exam, but after Mdm Tan said that she would kill me if i retake as she wanted me to concentrate on my other 4 subjects and hearing wat Wu Lao Shi said, i decided not to retake anymore. So now i just have to work hard and get my 4 As.
