Tough training

Finally I get to book out of camp for some rest and relax. This week has been hell for me in camp. My physical training has officially started. So now it’s PT, PT and more PT after intermediate close combat training (ICCT). Well we have started ICCT now which is rather fun where we learn how to break fall and use some locks to detain a person. However the first lesson is real bad, because we held it in the field. So we had to fall on the wet grass which is real disgusting and wet and dirty. Fortunately the subsequent lessons were held in the MPH. Training is very tough these days too. We have like PT twice a day which really tires u out. Friday is our only slack day where we had IMT so no PT at all for us to rest. Today we had SOC test, and I failed again. Low rope killed me again. But at the end I think I managed to master the technique of getting up without using too much of my arm power so hope I can pass the next time. ATP is coming too and if we manage to get marksman within a single try, we get to book out on the day and $200 but I think its nearly impossible for me. Even if I could shoot well, I will be panting too much from the run to be able to shoot properly. Haiz. But still, I hope to be able to achieve something which I can be proud of. Right now I am worth nothing in the platoon. I can’t run for nuts and I have failed both my IPPT and SOC while others can like run so well. Sometimes I really don’t think I deserve to be in scout and I really wonder if I can stay there. But since GOD place me there, there must be a purpose so I will endure it to the best I can.
