Finally I am out of the hospital and now at home typing this entry. On Monday, I was involved in a bike accident along BKE. All I could recall was losing control of the bike when it wobbled a lot and was as if trying to throw me off. Then the next moment, I was rolling on the floor and felt pain all over my body. Initially I was very afraid cause I did not have any feelings in my leg. So I just waited on the road for sometime before the ambulance came and brought me to NUH. In the ambulance, I had a drip due to my low BP and a collar cause my neck was hurting. When I reached NUH, I waited for a long time before I was sent for an X-Ray and warded. Initial scans suspects a fracture near the elbow but later the doctor realize that its not. However, on tue morning, I started vomiting so much which worries the doctor. Thus, I was sent for a brain scan, but nothings wrong with my head and I was alright by dinner time. On wed morning, the physiotherapist came and my arm was put into a sling. Initially I needed crutches to walk cause my right leg could not support any weight but later I tried to walk without crutches and I realize I could do it by limping a bit. At around 5 I was discharged. Now my right arm is in sling and my neck needs a collar for support and I am given 2 weeks MC with a review on the 12th. Right now I am typing with one hand only.
During my hospital stay many came to visit me and I want to thank all my commanders for their concern and especially PS Peter for bringing me my bible and my stuff. I want to thank Jacob who drop by twice and seeing me through my vomiting times, Albert, uncle Jit Meng and aunty Debra and aunty Elisabeth for coming to see me. Lastly to all Sfers who plan to come to visit me but did not have the chance. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses who have taken care of me too.
