Today's service was different, for a start service was held in the room where JSF used to hold their service vice versa. The message was about missions and is one where I really felt that it went pretty fast and the message was straight to the point and I really learnt a lot from it although it was like only about 20 mins. It sometimes really makes me wonder if I would ever go on mission trips. Actually spending time in a rural area is nothing to me considering that I have done that before when I went to China for the OCIP in JC 1 and had the experience of living in a different environment. But it's the thought of sharing to other people where language may be a barrier and there are other problems to consider such as money and if I am not comfortable sharing to even people in my country, how could I possibly share to a person of a different culture and language. The thought of all this just puts me off and I will just fall back on the thinking of why bother sharing to people in other country when there are so many unsaved souls in your own country. Think it's just human to think the easy out of things.

After church I rushed down to Plaza Singapura to meet my classmates for the movie click. When I reached there, boy I was really surprised to see most of the class there. Even the usual people who do not usually join are there. Think Eleanor the organizer should be very happy. Well click was a hilarious movie to begin with but with important lessons in it as well. It's a movie worth watching if you have not. It began with a guy who has the typical problems with work and not having time with his family. When one day he realized that he had problems with the many remote controls, he sets out to get a universal remote control to help him out. Well he got more than he wished for and got a remote control that not only controls his gadgets but his life as well. So essentially he could control volume of the barking dog, mute people he doesn't want to hear from, fast forward things he wants to miss, slow things down and even pause. Well the catch here is that this product is non refundable and it is able to record your usage patterns. The problems began when he uses it to fast forward it to the point where he was promoted and it was a year. So he fast forwards an entire year of his life and he realizes that the remote began to go out of control. It fast forwards based on past usage without him controlling it. So he got his wishes like a successful career but loses important things in life such as family and health. At his death bed, he realized the wrong he has done and tried his best to tell his son to treasure his family when he realize that his son was fast becoming like him. He ended up dying. Well this guy woke up from his dream and began to spend more time with his family and throws away the remote when it was sent to his house. Happy ending as always.

Sometimes I really can't stand some people. What the hell is wrong with spending my own money? The person who makes me lose faith in saving money by stealing my money and 'borrow' without returning or says he will return but never did is asking me not to buy so much stuff but save some money. What a damm ironic case. I am not going to be that stupid to save as much as $1000 and end up not seeing it at all. So why not spend it on something I want.
