Went to balcony with Danny, Jon and Sam Kwan for a drink and do some catching up yesterday. We met up at 8pm at Somerset MRT station and proceed to Ice Cold Beer first but too bad it is only for males which are 25 and above. Sheikh did not tell me about the limit and I was wondering how he managed to go there too. Instead we head over to balcony at Heeren. Balcony is a nice place to chill out and there is soccer to watch too. The drinks there are quite reasonable too. I had a watermelon martini and we had a nice chat with each other till about 11 which we then headed home. We really talk about anything and everything. When I got home, the conversation with Jon and Sam online lasted till about 3am.
Lately, friends around me have been talking about BGR, the problem that all of us will have to face sooner or later and it is really a tough thing to face. Well to me, I have no experience before as I have no girlfriend before but then again I do like other girls but have not really done anything to further our relationship. So now we are either friends or for one case, we sort of drift apart partly due to rumors. For such things, rumors are indeed damaging. And lately there have been rumors in church too and then I hope that it will die down fast or it will be awkward for everyone since we are all friends and we see each other almost every week. Then again it could also damage any real interest by any one (LOLZ). But then again as brothers and sisters in Christ, we should have love for each other and not spread or rather talk about such things which are damaging to friendship.
Well for me, according to a book I read, the right time to get into a relationship is when one is ready for marriage and we should all start with getting to know each other better and then proceed to get ready for marriage which is the ultimate goal and not like the world view where relationship is rushed and the ultimate goal is mutual pleasure and just for the sake of being happy. So many a times it ends up with just plain sex in the relationship where pleasure of the senses is desired and once the pleasure is not there, the couple or should I say convenient pair just break away and look for fresh pleasure. Thus as Christians, I strongly recommend us to take relationship issues seriously and only start a courtship when we are ready and can imagine a life with the person in mind.
