Hooray, we got one day off on Friday for CNY. Basically today the whole camp was rather empty due to the day off and I was smart enough to not clear today. Today’s duty was super slack with the occasional car coming in and all our superiors are not in camp today. From today till Wednesday, I am having break from camp and work for the CNY and I am really going to enjoy this whole break and relax from work. On Thursday, we had cohesion again at CCO with commandant giving us a speech and we had a buffet and after which we each got a goody bag with 2 oranges, one ribena, one packet of nuts and a red packet with 2 chocolate coins in them. Chinese New Year is here again and its time for decorations to be put up, snacks to be bought, new clothes to be worn and red packets to be collected. The thing I enjoy most is the snacking and my favourite is the bak kwa and I am always the greatest consumer in my house. So I think this year would be as usual, with reunion dinner at Aunt Betty’s house, first day visit at Uncle Michael’s house, day 2 at Aunt Betty’s house and Mrs Lim’s house and the rest of the days would most probably be at home. So to all my great friends who are reading this, you can invite me to your house. Lolz, anytime also can. Haha.
Just realized that Gracia’s birthday is yesterday and I only know it through friendster. So to Gracia, who I know will read this sooner or later, happy birthday to you and may you have a great 17th year and may you also do well in your next level of education.
Lastly to all my friends, wish that all of you have a prosperous and great Chinese new year and may all stay healthy always and have a great collection of red packets this year.
