Today was pretty much spent on preparing my house for painting. First in the morning, after breakfast, dad and I went to buy paint. Actually I wanted to get it from the shop that gave me the catalogue but I am sort of irritated by the fact that many the colours I wanted were not available and they were so slow in looking for the paint I wanted. In the end, we went away and look around for another shop. We settled on getting from a shop near the bank and luckily it had every colour we wanted and we spend $375 there getting the paint and the brushes.
When we came back, there was more work to be done. First of all, we removed all the light covers, wash and clean them and replaced bulbs that are faulty. Next, we took down the curtains and kept them up, next we removed the holder too. Some of the screws are so rusty that I had a hard time unscrewing them. Next was holes in the wall that had to be patched and sand and lastly was masking taping all the electrical points. After all this was done, it was around 6 and we bathe and change before going to dinner.
Painting my house tomorrow. Pray that it will turn out well.
