Gosh, the few days have been so busy that I have not updated my blog for a long time even missing several important things that I want to record down. There are so many things in my head now, so bogged down by so many stuff, so many things that I want to say.
On 021107, Friday, it was the day that I got back my long lost and missed PINK ic, the ticket to freedom and a new life ahead. Then again on that very day 2 very disappointing things happen at the same time which really spoils my day. First of all I got news that the SF comm very not keen on us joining the bible trail for the retreat so we will have to redo everything with only a month left. Secondly, I am supposed to start work yesterday at AIG but due to some cock up somewhere, my name is not there and now I have to look for another job again and with all my driving lessons, I am really stressed by my finances. I am dipping into my reserves now and I need to find some work soon to earn money.
On Friday morning, I went to have breakfast with MSG before collecting my IC and thereafter lunch with RSM. I spend almost half my day there, talking to friends and before I left, I got a haircut at aunty Nancy’s shop, my last. Friday night was spend with Budi at Clark Quay drinking and chatting till about 1am which I tend hop on the NR 2 back home. We went China One for a drink and enjoy the live band music and we had some food at Café iguana which was cheap and good.
Sentosa on Saturday was great. I got the islander card since I foresee many trips there with the medics to play volleyball. It was a great Saturday, playing volleyball, relaxing and dipping in the sea water. The weather was quite hot and my soles were burning from the hot sand. Now I am red like crab due to the sun.
On Sunday, I showed my BS mates my pink IC since I am the first among them to ORD and well the usual reaction, let’s go have lunch. Lolz. Meeting with Moses and the team was fruitful; we managed to settle on at least the messages and some of the program. After that we had BS on divorce and we not only learn about divorce but also on the covenant of marriage and what cases can divorce be allowed.
Went down to recruit express today to look for a new job since the AIG one did not work out. I got offered a job as a recruitment consultant with the company and the pay is 6 per hour with commission and I got till tomorrow to accept the job and after which I can start work next Monday. Well the pay is lesser but I think it would be a good learning experience since I have not much work experience too.
So stress by so many things, retreat, money and job.
