Got back from Bintan on Thursday and now I am sick, just my luck. Body aching like crazy with fever and diarrhoea. What a bad time to fall sick now with the retreat coming and we have yet to settle some stuff and tomorrow meeting will have to be cancelled.
Bintan was not too bad; a nice chill out and relaxing place with good weather and it was very quiet the time we were there. On the first day, after checking in, we slack around the villa and before dinner, Aileen, Gracia and I went to the beach to walk around and also to explore around. At around 6, we went to take a shuttle bus to Pasar Oleh Oleh for dinner. We ate at a hawker centre there and the food there taste great and the price is quite cheap too. After dinner, we shop at the provision shop there and I got some chewing gum. We continue shopping around Pasar Oleh Oleh where Jon got a temporary tattoo on his arm. At around
The next day, we woke up at around 10 and the rest were already done with breakfast and were out at the beach. I prepared some breakfast and after our meal, Jo, Jon and I went to take a walk around to explore the activities around. We went for the air rifle shooting, shooting cans and after walking, we went back to the villa. Jon and I decided to go for a swim at the hotel pool along with Zhi Zhen, Aileen, Gracia, Candice and Jane. After an hour or so, we went back to have lunch. We had dinner at a Kelong where they serve great seafood and the price is around 8 per head. We had chilli crab, black pepper crab, fried sotong, fish, vegetables, tofu and buttered prawns. Next morning its time to check out and the people were late to check the villa and we had to sort of rush cause we were afraid to miss the bus to the ferry terminal.
