It was a terrible week in terms of temps filled. I only had 1.5 and all 3 were not even actively filled by me. 2 was packing given by Elaine and the other one was Ariel’s candidate and I get the STB while she gets the margin. Not only was there little orders around, my pool of candidates were very dry too and all my ads are attracting the funny people who were not useful to me. On top of that, most people that I called are not picking up my calls which really piss me off and today I have a CRO. Oh my, what a week to have and the only good day is Thursday because it was my birthday and I had a mini celebration in the office with my colleague and after work, Amanda, Gina, Nathan, Ian and I went to sushi tei to have dinner. Initially Amanda and I wanted to compete at Sakae Sushi to see who could eat more sushi but later we decided to go sushi tei because they had some vouchers. On Thursday, it was really a super duper slack day. After Jas left at around 4, the whole office was suddenly in a slack mood and the psp was out and playing and computer games too. At around 6, the dinner party left for sushi tei. The dinner was real good and it was not too expensive for the amount of food we ate and we chatted for a while after dinner before going home. Nathan and I stayed a bit to see Gina’s boyfriend and kaypo a bit before leaving for home.
Today was the official opening for centrals’ new office at Taka level 21 and for the temps, only Nathan, Ian and I went. The food was good and we get to see all of the other consultants from other branches. On top of that, I finally knew who Fang Ting and Li Ling are and not only fax things blindly to them without knowing who they are. At around, 7 I left the place.
Life is really unexpected, today one of Amanda’s candidate got involved in an accident while on the way to work and he passed away. It was only last week that she saw him and she was affected by it and cried. Life is so unpredictable and he was an ORD guy just like us and gone while on the way to work.
I feel old to be 21. Finally it’s the license to do many stuff and also the time for many great responsibilities to be in my hands. I thank God for seeing me through these 21 years of my life and I am really thankful to be saved and be part of his wonderful family. This is a new beginning of my life and I pray for wisdom and to be always in the favor of the Lord.
