29th February of 2008 would indeed be memorable for me. On Friday, it was the day Govt shift out from here to Taka and also the day that Glenn is leaving RE. Everyone will be sad that friends are leaving and we cannot work together anymore and also cannot have lunch together. Worse still, now we need to share the office with another division and I wonder how it will be like on Monday. The life of the office will be pretty much gone. After work, we headed down to the NUS Guild House located at the rooftop of Suntec City for our farewell dinner. We had a bbq buffet dinner and the best part is enjoying bbq food without having to cook it by yourself and also worrying about eating undercooked food. Well it was a fun time of getting together for dinner and also we had lots of photo taking to capture the fun times we had. After dinner, all the temps, Alicia, Ariel, Doreen, Veron, Winnie, Grace, Fiona and Liz went down to DBL O to have our part 2. We entered through O bar and afterwards went to Dbl for drinks and also some dance at the floor. The first round was a tray of tequila and I had 2 shots. The aim that night was to make Shawn drunk but we failed. After the 2 shots, Veron, Winnie, Shawn, Grace and I played the number game and Shawn drank almost 1/5 of the jug with the final losing moment. After that was dancing to sweat the alcohol out but before I even perspire, we had tequila pop and Shawn was like, I dun want to drink anymore. Lolz. When we are tired from the dancing, we went to the section where there was a live band music and we sat there and chat. Grace ordered 2 kamikaze shots for Shawn and after much persuasion, he drowned them. At around 2 plus, after one round of pool, I went home sharing cab with Nathan, Winnie and Vivian.
I got up at around 9:30 for my driving lesson and I was quite tired and nearly got into an accident. Thank God that nothing happened. After my driving, I went home to sleep before going out to Yishun to meet Liang Ying, Shu Wen and Jing Wen for dinner before going for their Hall production. We had dinner at Sakae Sushi and also had some catching up with each other. After dinner, we went for the performance. Well it was not bad a drama for non professionals. The story was about a man who was not very confident about his looks due to his huge nose and as a result did not dare woo the girl that he likes. In the beginning the story is quite good with lots of witty jokes and also some nice poetry and how another handsome guy took advantage of him and the girl thought that the nice love letter was written by him but was actually wrote by the intelligent guy with the huge nose. But the ending was a disappointment which the story ended abruptly and very much expected.
Had actually wanted to go for the K1 Motor Sport carnival which is held downstairs my house, but it was raining heavily the whole day and I guess the go kart is cancelled and also I am not feeling well now, down with a cold too. So after coming back from Church, I took a bathe, wash my clothes and went to rest. Had a nap at around 3 and it was good and I felt better. Hope I don’t fall sick, must drink lots of water.
