Another temps outing on Thursday to celebrate Shawn aka Lord Moon’s birthday. This time we have a new addition which is Maisy who joined us for the dinner at Crystal Jade La Mian and Xiao Long Bao. We had the La Mian and also Wo Tie and the Xiao Long Pao. The food is not bad and the prices are reasonable too. After the dinner, we sang happy birthday for Shawn at the eatery and went to a open space near somerset to just talk cock for a while and thereafter went to play pool at Le Meridian.

Had driving lesson on Saturday and well it was not too bad just that my turning are a bit close to the kerb for some reason. Think it’s probably because of the test like coming in Monday which makes me a little nervous. I really hope that I would be able to pass this time. After driving, was swimming with Liang Ying and later we went to eat. Dinner was at Coco with the mission team and we went to church after dinner to watch End of the Spear which is about the missionary Jim Elliot and team who were killed by the Indians in the Amazon that they were trying to preach the gospel to. Well it was an encouraging film and it makes me wonder if I would be able to give up all and go to such a dangerous place for a mission trip. The place that I am going this July would be relatively safe and well it really pales in comparison with what they are going through.

Finally completed all the essays needed for the scholarship application now only lacks a signed letter of recommendation and after that just pray hard.

Tomorrow is finally my second attempt at the driving and I really hope that I can pass this time around. May God watch over me.
