I realised that I have been updating like only once a week recently and I guess I am too tired when I reached home and to add on to that, I have to wake up earlier now for the job. Well I am not complaining since the pay is decent and now I only have 3 more days left. This week has been a super busy week for me with a walk in ad for mailroom assistant and I was literally flooded with interviews the whole day and to add on to that, I have to fill my own temps and the rest of the team is still bugging me with crap like 1 or 2 day jobs which really irritates me. But I am too busy to care man. Luckily Elaine helped me sell one candidate and also by God’s grace, I managed to fill 3 temps myself, in total this week, I fill 3.0 plus parking and well 2.0 was my own candidate. Now we are really having some pressure by the CEO and underperforming temps will face termination, well I know that my division will help me as much as they can but at the end of the day, I still have to work hard. Furthermore it is really difficult to work nowadays with so many people and so little computer to work with and our job literally relies on the computer. At the end of the day, its no use making excuses just try to do the best that I can and bring in more sales for the team. For next week, I will try to fill the marketing position, mailroom position and hopefully fill around 2.0 for the week again. I really hate it sometimes when people say that I only feed on parking and don’t contribute to filling temps myself but really they don’t see the amount of work that I have on top of my usual work, I am really busy with lots of admin work but well as long as God knows and the right people know it is ok. I foresee more staying back late to clear mails and do up CVs to be faster then the rest.
Went for dinner with Venetia, Vivian, Nathan and Shaun at Bugis just now and we initially wanted to eat at this place called Miss Clarity Café but it was too full and after waiting for so long and also Venetia had to be home by 9, we decided to eat at Hans instead.
