Its been a long time since I blog, and lots of overdue and backlog entries and event to talk about. I have just finished my latest project which was Ivy’s birthday present. I made a card and a cross stitch tissue holder for her and well the general comments from the rest of RE was that it was ugly and the card is very rigid and engineered like me. Well but in the end they also commented that it was good effort for someone like me and well Ivy was happy with it too. Must say the 2 weeks of work really paid off and I was like literally rushing it through the night and sleeping late for it.
On the 5th, the temp staff went to Escape Theme Park and well it was pretty boring but the people you go with is important and it will not be boring with the rest around. We tried almost all the rides and the haunted house was where I had the most fun scaring Vivian and Evon while they scream their way through the whole journey. The pirate was the one which gave us the most kick and the inverter was the scariest ride for me. After the rides, we to play the Go kart where we queued for about an hour and thereafter we went to TM to meet Venetia for dinner at Fish and Co where it was my first time there. A few days before, the whole office was like shocked at me cause apparently I have never eaten there before and they were like oh man which cave did you live in and so I decided to break my Fish and Co virginity. I had a picture taken with the menu for remembrance too. After the dinner, we shopped around for a while and thereafter I took 969 back.
On Thursday, we had Banking 3 division dinner at Sushi Tei to celebrate Ivy’s dinner. During the dinner, we took some photos and also the pictures of the food which was taken by Elaine. The food is good and the ambience is good too and we had the seat in the cosy looking pavilion like table. After the dinner, we slack around for a while before going for shopping. So I followed them around to River Island, Dorothy Perkins and finally we went to Cocoa Tree to buy chocolates. After that I made my way back to finish my card and also the cross stitch.
We had a cake to celebrate Ivy’s birthday today and Derek came along to surprise her and she cried. I guess she was too touched and later it was photo taking and eating of cake. The strawberry cake was good and Jaslyn bought it from Taka and I went down to meet her and to get the cake.
Starting Monday for 2 weeks, I will be working from 7:30 to 8:45 recording bus arrival for HSBC at raffles place. It not a bad job and the pay is like 15 per hour. Extra $250 for the month. Woohoo.
