Last Friday was super busy for me as I was rushing here and there, signing contacts, finding invoices, doing pay slips and finding people for orders. When I was done with all my work, it was like 6 and I had to rush off to buy dinner for Mother’s Day celebration. We had Wu Xiang, Satay and Chee Chong Fun for dinner that day and I think I bought a little too much but still managed to finish it all up.

When I reached there, I met up with Ven first and then Shaun before going to get the tickets and we pass out time in the arcade while waiting for the rest to come. I played Time Crisis 2 and died in the stage 2 boss and got trashed by Ven in the Hyper Bish Bash Champ. We made our way to Ikea and on the way to take the bus, we managed to catch the shuttle bus and took the free ride to Ikea. We had the famed meatballs, chicken wings and I had Spaghetti too. Before we left, I had a hotdog bun while the rest had ice cream. The meat balls very really good and it is the kind where you can eat a lot and not feel sianz. The cheese was superb and together it was yum yum. It was interesting seeing Ven eat the chicken wings as she just refused to use both hands and she had trouble separating the wing from the drumstick and it was amusing to see her struggling with it and finally she used a serviette to hold one side and to tear it apart. After the meal, we went over to TM for our movie and we walked to the opposite side which was wrong all thanks to Evon and we walked back again to squeeze onto the crowded 27 to go back to Tampines.
We caught What Happens in Vegas and it was a great show and I strongly recommend it to everyone. It was super funny and I really had a good laugh and the ending was good when they fell in love with each other after trying to piss each other off and the quote from the movie I can recall goes like I would rather not do anything then do something that I would be miserable doing. After the movie, I told everyone not to go off cause there was an end scene and I guess the group in front of us heard us and stayed too and Shaun was like if there is no scene WE can all beat Norman up and so we waited and waited and they were all doubting me and well there was a last scene and after that we left.
After the movie, we went to Blk 201 to have prata for supper where we had a chat over prata and some drinks. Well the prata was ok only not as good as they claim it was. After the supper, we walked Ven to her house before going to take 39 back. When I reached Yishun, the last 850 had left and so I took the train back to Sembawang.
First day in YA service today and well the people there welcome us warmly and YA really had very little people and it was quite dead as compared to SF. Well it was time for us to move on as we grow older. Went swimming after church and well it was good and I managed 30 laps this time but think I need to work on the technique a bit. Lly and I registered for the Singapore Bay Run and we had dinner before heading off for our house.
