Today is a special day for Albert and Elena as they become one to spend the rest of their lives together. The wedding is held at our church and I reached a little early but some people were already there and I chat with Danny while waiting for the ceremony to start. It started off with Elena walking in and all eyes were on the beautiful bride, followed by praise and worship lead by Roger and a exaltation by Uncle Jit Meng. After which was the Holy Matrimony presided over by Pastor Joshua, followed by the exchanging of rings and kissing of the bride by the groom.
The best part of the program was the skit put up by Sfers about how they got to know each other, how the courtship started and how Albert proposed to her. It was a little funny and the acting was great.
After the phototaking, the guests proceed down for some refreshments and the logistics people stayed behind to help arrange the chairs for tomorrow’s thanksgiving. There were lots of chairs to arrange and after finishing everything, I was perspiring and after that I went back.
Going to Ah Boy’s 2nd child 1 month old celebration tomorrow and after that swimming with Liang Ying and maybe watching Ironman.
