Just got back from Church after our mission preparation and learning the dance and out theme song. This afternoon was Amanda and Aaron’s wedding and the church was called together to celebrate this wonderful affair. Amanda is only like one year older than Jon and I and he mentioned that it is funny seeing that someone of our age is getting married. Well Jon has been planning his married ever since and even appointed the ICs for it and in case you guys are wondering, I am the supposed best men and program in charge. However the crux of it is that he is still without a girlfriend so when people say to plan in advance, Jon really takes the word for it. The interesting thing about this wedding is the video put up by Candice and Samantha and it was really good and funny and the stuff they do in the video can only be done by them and no one else or rather no one crazy enough but it was a good laugh. After the wedding, we headed down for the reception and the food was good and we are treated to a special presentation by Amanda and Aaron which was a dance by them and later joined by their parents though Pastor Henry needed some persuasion.
While waiting for the mission meeting to start, I get to chat with Sam a bit and also catch up with her and as usual we took some pictures. Shall upload them onto facebook.
I was back from the BS leader’s camp on Friday night and this camp is really one of the most brain draining one. Well there was not really much schedule, just the meals, messages and it was pretty much on our own to complete our tasks and our one task is really enough to kill us. Doing the OIA for our passages took almost all of our time and our works get rejected time after time till we really see it clearly and though tiring, it really opens our eyes up to how we can study the bible. I would say that I really learn a lot from this camp and now I will really look at passages of the bible differently.
