Finally there is a break called Recess Week where we get a one week break which means half the semester is gone and the exams are coming along with the assignments, project presentations and many more. For me, I do not have a break at all and will be having loads of project meetings and assignments to rush and also to start on my studying and making some notes so as not to rush like crazy when the exam is nearby. I hope that I will fully utilize this one week to finish up my project well and also to at least go through some concepts that I am not very good in. For economics, I think I am ok and stats need some work and really need to internalize the concepts for OB and marketing both which I enjoy a lot but not really sure on the exams and stuff. On top of that, I would have to juggle the commitments of JCRC and hall games.
I am really tired and busy always and I am not complaining but rather I enjoy myself, just that I find that I have no time for myself anymore which I do not if it is good or bad or just normal for people at this period where we will all be busy with school and work and stuff. Perhaps I really need to asked myself what I really want to achieve in school or am I just trying out many things cause I do not have a direction yet and I am exploring in the mist of all these activities. The answer I do not know but one thing is, I am not doing things for the sake of doing.
Had Ambassador on site training today where we took the hippo bus and go through the places that we are bringing our teams around and it was fun knowing many things about Singapore and seeing so many different places that I have not explored before and seeing Singapore in a different light after going to the URA gallery. There are so many interesting things about us that I have not known about and how efficient we are in planning the space we have.
Went for Cell after that and it has been a long time since I seen them due to my busy schedule and it was comforting to be together with God’s people and worshiping and learning together.
I have gone for the last interview for BS and I really hope to be able to get in and also I have formed my Subcomm which I believe is a good team and we can achieve a lot this year. I thank God for giving me great people to work with and some good people to guide me along. After the recess week, I have a stats quiz, 3 presentations in a row, one OB project to submit as a group and a individual OB assignment due before the holidays end.
