Many things happen since the Standard Chartered Marathon and I haven been updating due to my very busy schedule of working in the day and either meeting up with sponsors, joint hall meeting, business meetings and the occasional meeting up with friends.
The first update was the NBS bash which I went alone cause 2 people pang sei me, but no worries, I know many people in NBS and so friends are still every where, think that is an advantage for being able to talk a lot. Well initially was quite boring till some people start to dance and the worse part is the free flow drinks where everyone just crowds around the bar like some yao gui and I was super sianz so i went to the outside bar to get a drink without queue. After that was some dancing before leaving at around 1:30 as I had to work the next day.
Thursday was store cleaning up and packing day and well I am glad that majority came down and we managed to clear up the store and now it is real neat and tidy and look proper. We are also getting fans installed. One upz for Business Committee. Good job guys.
Saturday was the first BS meeting and we are formally introduced to the various directors and also the opening speech by our new president, Roy. Well I think this is really the place for me and I enjoy the crowd. We had mahjong and poker after the meeting, and thereafter dinner and ended it off with a drink a Harry's Bar.
My most satisfying program during this holidays is the implementation of the random outing. We went out on Sunday made up of the most random people. The group had Sarah, Han Ming, Sok Peng, Evandne, Xin Hui, Liang Ying and I. We went bowling, dinner and movie. Well it was really fun and it turn out well and everyone could make it. Shall start planning for the next one till XH comes back from Taiwan.
This whole week is going to be packed with meetings again and my leg is still not recovering. I want to run soon.
