Started work on Monday with BNP Paribas for my internship and I am attached to the compliance department. During the first day, we had 2 briefing one by the head of compliance and the other by the deputy HR head. After which we went for a welcome lunch at coffee club express and work starts a little for me. Basically my job is to check for AML and CTF and checking if a client is safe to work with or not. There is lots of procedures and more new things to learn everyday but I think once I get the hang of it, it should be a pretty mundane job. Well think it is a great place to work just that the people there are quiet and the department do not eat together. Everyone is just doing their own work.
Started training again after a long time and I fret for my IPPT on saturday and also the standard chartered 42km on sunday.
