What I have done for the weekends at home, FM tutorial, Acc Tut, Watching TV, Catching Up on my sleep, Swimming and Tuition. There is AA 101 quiz on Wednesday and I have not started studying at all. Planned to study during the weekend but ended up slacking. 3 more weeks or lesser to the first paper and I am still not in the mugging mood. I want to feel the stress and the anxiety to remind me to study hard and chiong for this semester’s examination. Pray that I will be able to do well for this semester too. Time to start on my AA 101 revision………………………

This week is truly shack, with IT project to rush, studying for FM quiz which I think was quite doable. I am finally home on a Friday as training for BS has ended for now and the past week has been crazy with little sleep and lots of coffee. Had wanted to do some work just now, but I am too tired and I decided to update my very stagnant blog and quickly go to bed and wake up early tomorrow to do my work. Exams are in 3 weeks time and we still have 2 projects to do and this semester really flies by and I feel that I have learnt nothing. So I guess it is time to catch up on my work which I guess I have done by doing my tutorials, but the pace is so fast and everything happens so quickly that information gets out of my head as soon as I learn something new. I guess I just have to get used to it and make the most out of my time and study hard for the coming examinations as I really have to get my GPA to something decent and not as disgusting as what I had last semester.
Well many things have flew past and I am just going to update as much as I can and as much as I can remember or as much as I can put here before falling asleep. Strangely I am not very sleepy now but alright here it goes. All the people taking IT are super stressed over the database project that we are supposed to do with MS Access and I can tell you that it must be one of the most unfriendly software ever by MS. It is quite difficult to do and very time consuming. Thank God that we had Hong Wee who picks up quite fast, KJ to help me with it and I just touch up here and there and as usual making sure that all our timelines are being met and we can get the product on time. Just few hours ago, we were at Miao’s hall trying to help them with their forms seeing that they worked on it since last night till 6am in the morning. We managed to help them a bit and hope that they can have something out by Wednesday.
For ABCC 2009, I got the post I wanted which was Events Director: Round Table and also Emcee for Gala Dinner. Sadly I could not be roundtable Emcee which was what I wanted to. But since I joined BS, I had always wanted to be part of the planning of ABCC and now I got my wish and I shall work hard along with my other colleagues to make ABCC 2009 a successful one. Openings are available for a Co Emcee and the criterion is that the emcee must be pretty. Applications start now.
Internal Case Competition was a great experience of working together with XH, Urs and Gelina and somehow we got into the quarters and were killed by a case which was very financial in nature and all of us are not very good in it. Well, I had fun and also experienced real lack of sleep and how it can affect our presentation. I must work hard to join more competitions, improve myself and win a competition one day.
I was also involved in NTU Open House 2009 and well it was the first time that NBS had a Discover Business segment where we showcase the different clubs in NBS. However the students were more interested in finding out more about the program, the admission criteria and things like the difference between Business and Accountancy. The ambassadors were quick to switch and we ended up sharing out all this information which was of more interest to the potential students. Overall the event went well with many students visiting the Business booth and it was fun interacting with students from other clubs and also the potential students.
That’s all for today, exams are coming and I pray that I would able to do well this semester.
