NS Medical Check Up

♥ 9:23 PM
Woke up at 6 am today as I need to go to Central Manpower Base (CMPB) for my NS medical checkup. When I woke up, mum told me to go back to sleep and wake up again at 7am. I was like ok never mind, I can sleep more anyway.
I left the house at around 8:20 am, took a train to Redhill MRT station. When I reach there, it was already 9:30am. So I decided to take a cab to CMPB to save the hassle of finding the place should I take a bus there. The ride cost me $4.70, but I told the Uncle to count as $5 to save the trouble.
I was surprised to fine many NYJCians there and I was even more surprised to see Danny. Never expected that I would meet him there as he never mentioned it before during our conversations which were quite regular.
First was the filling of some forms and waiting to be called. After being called, I stared the first test which was the hearing test. All you have to do is wear a headphone and listen to the beep sounds and raise your hand according to the source of the sound.
After the sound test was the eye test. The usual reading the letters on the chart stuff and colour blindness test. I think they suspect I had colour blindness as I had to do another test on colour blindness, however I was graded PES A after that.
The x ray came after the eye test and nothing much to say here except that the guy look sissy. Haha.
After the chest ray, I went to have the blood and urine test. I was given a strip and told to pee on it. Quite hard to shoot on all the colours, but manage to do it in the end.
There was a dental check too but forgot the sequence. Not sure what is it about, the guy just poke around with a metal stick and recite off some funny numbers.
Last station was the one which I had to wait the most. At the last station, my height, weight and blood pressure is taken. After which is a survey on sexual experience and ECG. My height was 169 and weight was 65.1. Not obese I think.
After a long wait for my queue to be called, I was called to see a MO and had to answer questions like are you gay. Here I was required to strip my pants and cough. The purpose of this test is unknown to me. At here I knew that I was in PES B cause of my skin condition. I was nearly put into PES D, but they decided against getting a report from NSC.
The final one before going home was the vocational and psychological test. The psychological test had many very stupid questions. The vocational test was like a IQ test. I could not complete all the sections. Some questions were really difficult.
When I left the place, it was 2:30. Half of my day gone, but it was rather fun in there especially with Yun Yi and many others.
